As a Business Development Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of sales and business development. This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn about sales strategies, customer relationship management, and the art of closing deals. Responsibilities
Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads
Support the sales team in preparing presentations and proposals
Help maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system
Participate in sales meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales processes
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
Assist in analyzing sales data and preparing reports
Shadow experienced sales representatives during client interactions
Who You Are
Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire to learn
Nice To Haves
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Familiarity with social selling techniques
Knowledge of industry-specific sales processes
Interest in sales psychology and negotiation tactics
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
