Internship Description
As an Event Planning Intern, you will assist our events team in coordinating and executing a variety of corporate and social events. This role offers hands-on experience in all aspects of event management, from concept development to on-site coordination.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and organizing various events, including conferences, workshops, and social gatherings- Help with vendor selection and management
- Support budget tracking and expense management for events
- Assist in creating event timelines, run sheets, and logistics plans
- Help with event marketing and promotion
- Contribute to post-event analysis and reporting
Who You Are
- Pursuing a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Basic understanding of event planning principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Nice To Haves
- Experience with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Knowledge of social media marketing for events
- Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and setup
- Interest in sustainable event practices
