Internship Description
Internship would be carried out within the Brijuni National Park, and students would become familiar with the way the institution for nature protection works. They would participate in the planning and implementation of activities related to the protection, promotion and education of the geological heritage of the National Park, mainly related to the monitoring and supervision of dinosaur fossil footprints findings and other paleontological sites.
Responsibilities
Monitoring the condition of dinosaur tracks
Participation in the educational programs
Designing educational programs and content
Assisting in the researchs of external associates of the National Park
Cooperation during the making of a Brijuni National Park geological map
Organizing the GIS database
Who You Are
Graduate student in geology and/or paleontology or other geosciences
Graduate student of environmental protection
Nice To Haves
It is desirable that students are familiar with vertebrate paleontology and carbonate sedimentology
It is desirable to be familiar with GIS programs
Respect for nature and its protection
