Internship Description
As a Hospitality Intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of guest services and hotel operations. This role offers a comprehensive learning experience across various departments, providing insights into the art of creating exceptional guest experiences and managing hospitality operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
Rotate through different departments including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and events
Assist in check-in and check-out procedures, addressing guest inquiries and requests
Support the concierge team in providing local information and arranging guest services
Help coordinate events and manage group bookings
Assist in maintaining guest records and managing reservations
Contribute to improving guest satisfaction through service excellence initiatives
Support the implementation of health and safety protocols
Who You Are
Pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Basic understanding of hotel operations and guest services
Proficiency in standard computer applications and willingness to learn hotel management software
Nice To Haves
Experience in customer-facing roles in hospitality or retail
Knowledge of a second language
Familiarity with property management systems (PMS)
Interest in sustainable and eco-friendly hospitality practices
