Internship Description
As a Project Manager for an NGO, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion. You will research and apply for grants and tenders, provide administrative support including project documentation and budget management, and develop marketing strategies to promote projects. Requirements include strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, knowledge of project management principles, proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software, and the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Prior experience in project management, grant writing, or marketing is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Project Management: Overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
Application and Tender Writing: Researching and applying for grants, funding opportunities, and tenders to support the NGO's projects and initiatives.
Administration: Providing administrative support for project activities, including maintaining project documentation, coordinating meetings, and managing project budgets.
Marketing and Promotion: Developing marketing strategies to promote the NGO's projects and initiatives, including creating promotional materials, managing social media accounts, and organizing events to raise awareness.
Who You Are
Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for writing grant applications, project reports, and promotional materials.
Knowledge of project management principles and tools to effectively plan and execute projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Prior experience in project management, grant writing, or marketing may be preferred but not required.
